SonicWall expands into endpoint security
SonicWall has just announced it will now add endpoint security to its powerful collection of security solutions.
The company, which currently focuses on network and email security, will partner with SentinelOne to offer its customers next-generation endpoint protection for enterprise-level security enforcement.
As well as SonicWall’s current services, small and medium businesses who opt for the combined platform will receive automated real-time breach detection and prevention.
The combined solution will give users a streamlined service that encompasses SonicWall’s Capture Threat Network with threat intelligence from SentinelOne endpoint data as well as many more key features. With automated distribution of the endpoint protection platform, combined technology capabilities include policy-based enforcement, remediation and dynamic detection across both endpoint and network.
After traditionally focusing more on networks, this will be a first for SonicWall in its quest to expand its security platform for customers with small to medium enterprises.
The partnership will be the next step in line with its evolution over the past year. Last November the company spun out from Dell to become its own entity. Following this, SonicWall has evolved it’s next-generation products to keep them a step ahead of advanced threats with the launch of Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
The SonicWall and SentinelOne solution is said to become available in early 2018. To find out more about what the service will offer, follow the link to see SonicWall’s press release:
